The processing of personal data is based on the 'Act of 30 July 2018 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data.
Your personal identification data (surname, first name, gender and date of birth), your contact details (address, e-mail address and telephone number) and your financial identification data (bank details) are processed in order to correctly process your order. This data is therefore processed for the execution of the agreement. The information you provide is necessary for the proper processing and shipping of your order and/or to comply with your request and is stored in your account. The aforementioned data, in combination with your electronic identification data (IP address, location data, cookies, browser and language preferences), is used for various other purposes:
- Improving the quality of the website, both technically and in terms of content.
- Improving services.
- Providing information via e-mail, such as updates to the website, but also product recommendations and offers that may interest you based on previous orders you have placed with us. You will only receive the newsletter after you have registered or with explicit consent.
- Fraud prevention and control.
How long is the data kept?
- Newsletter: your data will be kept for 180 days. If you have not contacted Drøm during that time, your data will be deleted.
- Invoicing data: In accordance with legal obligations regarding accounting, these documents must be kept for 7 or 10 years after the last invoice date.
Rights of the data subject:
You have the right to inspect your personal data and the use we make of that personal data at any time free of charge. You have the right to request us to correct, supplement or delete your personal data. In a number of cases listed in the GDPR, you may also request the restriction of the processing of your Personal Data. You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data if you have serious and legitimate reasons for doing so that outweigh our need to process your data. You also always have the right to object to the use of personal data for direct marketing purposes, even without having to provide a reason for this. You have the right to request your Personal Data in digital and readable form and/or to have it transferred to other controllers and to another service provider of your choice. To the extent that our processing is based on your prior consent, you have the right to withdraw that consent.
